The Start of Something New...

Today's the first day back at school and so far it's been pretty cool.
I mean I was just so shocked that Bhag. is in my class!!! Cannot believe my luck! I always turn out to be the unlucky one without all my friends but Bhag. is in my class!!! Woohoo!!! Our new teacher is called Mr. Ridgway and he reminds me a lot of Mr. Roper from BBI. Seriously, he's kinda young and he's a P.E. teacher. Anyway, he's pretty cool like Mr. Roper as well.
This year there are like tonnes of new students. I know exactly how it feels like to be one of them. (Kinda been through that way too many times.) Oh yeah, and for all the other sets, I'm pretty much with Akshaya or Bhag. so it's really really awesome. But tomorrow I got Business Studies and Spanish so I'm gonna be on my own for that. :(

One more day left in Singapore...
I mean it's not like I don't wanna go back but I'm still gonna miss this place. I've decided that there ain't gonna be a 5T reunion because of well... I guess my own personal feelings. And well, also because of the time problem. My dad just received an email not too long ago that I am supposed to be back in Bahrain a week before school starts. How come everytime I come back to Singapore, there's gonna be some sort of situation that comes in the way... So I'll be flying on the 19th...
I have been spending a lot of time with my grandparents and cousins (well, practically everyday). It's not like I don't wanna meet up with my old classmates but I realised my own motive in all of this and I think I've finally seen the light.
Today's the 31st of August and so tomorrow's the 1st of September, which is... Teacher's Day in Singapore. Okay, I know I am no longer in Singapore anymore but honestly speaking I really really suddenly miss the times when I was in primary and when I was celebrating Teacher's Day with my class. Especially in Primary 5... Well, I can't go back into time, can I...
Anyway, HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY TO every single teacher in Singapore for tomorrow!
End it with this song by called "Where Are You Now" by Honor Society. Peace.

It's Summer Time! (The Extended Version)
Thursday, August 27, 2009
Woohoo! School's opening date got extended to the 27th of Sept! How awesome is that!!! That means 2 more weeks of waking up late!!! So stoked!!! Yeah that's about it...
August 9th is now officially... POLE DANCING DAY...
Thursday, August 13, 2009
Well, I just decided to blog.
Don't know what to blog about...
Oh yeah, on Aug 9th, I watched Singapore's National Day Parade live on my computer and well... I guess it was alright. Pretty much like all the other National Days but oh! I remembered something that was different! There was POLE DANCING. Yap, pole dancing... (very very awkward up to this point.) I mean I'm not even a conservative person but seriously pole dancing while celebrating your country's independence... hmmm... They do know that little kids watch this y'know. Who knows? Maybe the next present that your kid asks for is a pole cause they think that by pole dancing, you seem patriotic. Well, I guess it's not that bad but I guess it's not that appropriate either.
And yeah, on the same day, it was the Teen's Choice Awards. Miley Cyrus performed her new single, "Party in the USA" on guess what... wait for it... AN ICE CREAM CART WITH A POLE ON IT. Yap. Totally predictable this one. Honestly though, she didn't act seductively with the pole, I think she used it to balance herself so she doesn't fall off it. So from my point of view, she is not that guilty of being a bad role model. On the other hand, she could've used something else to stabilise herself so she doesn't get accused once again of the "America's Next Teen Stripper".
I'm starting to sound like I'm writing an essay on pole dancing. So, off that topic, I had a dream a few days back that was totally weird. It consisted of Lucas Till and my dad fighting or something. Weird. Well, one more month of summer holidays and back to school. I'm actually pretty excited about the Duke of Ed starting soon cause all my most amazing friends got in too! We gonna start a storm in the desert!!! (Literally, a storm... get it... sandstorm...*awkward laughter*)
One more month of summer hols left and I have pretty much been hanging at home. Well, it ain't that bad with this TV serial that me and my mum and yes, even my dad likes, accompanying me. Seriously, I've never ever been so obsessed with a Taiwanese serial like this one. It's called, "光阴的故事“and basically the storyline is about a group of kids growing up in the 60s and 70s but it's really really cool. Serious. Every part of this serial is either gonna make you laugh your heart out or make you cry your heart out. It's so cute as well. My favourite bit of it is the cute relationship between a girl named, 一美 and 毅源.I'm gonna show you guys one of my favourite scenes from the serial. I am not exactly the biggest fan of kissing scenes but seriously, this one is so so cute!!!
Here it is:

What time is it? Summer Time. Yay.
Monday, July 20, 2009
Yeah, so it's the summer holidays and my life is pretty normal. Well, except for my sleeping time. It's totally mucked up. Oh yeah, there is this tv serial on the internet that my mum and I are like really obsessed. It's real good. As you can probably make out, I am kinda bored. *sigh* Stupid swine flu... making my summer holidays boring. Can't get out of the country. Don't feel like writing anymore...

Michael Jackson Healed the World
Wednesday, July 08, 2009
I love you, Michael Jackson. I really really do.
Yesterday was MJ's public memorial and I watched the whole programme on CNN. It was one of the saddest memorials I've witnessed. I never even thought I would cry. I started crying a little at the start when his casket was pushed in by the Jackson brothers. It's just so sad. I mean when I first heard his death, I was not so depressed because you just don't feel like he's gone. But now, when you actually see that the world's greatest entertainer is in that gold coffin, it just seriously shocks you. The part that made me cry so much that I couldn't control myself was when his daughter, Paris Jackson, spoke. Now, when I think about his daughter's speech I just suddenly want to burst into tears. You guys can laugh all you want but seriously we should treasure the people around us before it's too late. All of us are going to be gone one day so never take the people around you for granted.
Just like MJ, before his death, people tease him, reprimand him, hate him but now when he is dead, everyone starts to finally treasure him. To be honest with you, I don't see the use of it anymore. He's gone.
These few days, I also began to understand how he inspired the music world. MJ is a real humanitarian. You can easily see from his songs ("Heal the World", "We are the World"...) that he really hopes for equality in this world between all races and religions. These songs are indeed amazing and I am even more amazed that he wrote most of his songs. He has helped connect everyone across the world with his music.
I WILL MISS YOU MJ.
This video is one of the saddest in the world:
If you want to pay tribute to Michael Jackson, you can tag it on my tagboard. I'll post it on the tribute website.
Seriously I so gotta post this one. If you didn't laugh, I don't know what will.

This class makes me lose faith in humanity... LOL...
Since I don't really have much to do, might as well blog. Okay, I'm gonna start off with something that I saw that is seriously LOL to the extreme. Check out this test paper that a teacher marked. LOLOLOL!
Haha! This class makes me lose faith in humanity! EPIC! This person must be super smart because he actually scored 100% and also had time to write nasty (but cool...)comments that obviously pissed the teacher off. LOL. Check out this website for more funny answers to exam papers that teachers marked! http://funnyexam.com/
Off that topic, ooooooh.... Akshaya... you have not been in school as I heard and is not gonna go tomorrow too... Ooooooooooh...see who's turning naughty...
Even though it's a little late, invitations for a chicken pox party at my place is still available... while stocks last...

It's a Sunday afternoon and one week away from the summer holidays and my school's having prize-giving day and I got awards and I'm at home. Yea, I'm at home. One word: gayness. Gayness, gayness, gayness. Seeing that my face looks horrible with spots everywhere ain't helping. Stupid chicken pox. It's been five days and I still look worse than ever. While Akshaya and Bhag.and the others are bowling, I'd be slopping my face with Calamine lotion and ending up looking like an Aborigine. Moral of the story: I hate chicken pox. (Note: hate is a strong word)
Well, as I am longing for the vicious virus (yes, Bhag, you can jump up and down and say alliteration)to get out of me, I have been starting to read Pride and Prejudice. Okay, I have owned the book for three years or so and I have attempted to read it but can't make myself to. Now, after watching a little bit of that BBC series, I have to admit the story is pretty interesting. I actually finished Volume 1! In three years! Hallelujah! These few days in bed have allowed me to finally have my precious reading time.
Honestly, I don't even know what state my face is going to be like on Thursday and I seriously don't want to miss the last day of the school year. I also really want to hang out with Bhag. and others. Pray for me peeps that by Thursday, my face will at least be presentable and that my parents are gonna allow me to go to school. Crossing my fingers...
Oh by the way, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL AMERICANS!!! (I know that's yesterday but still...)
And... wait! Go on youtube and watch the newest episode of Hannah Montana! It's called: He could be the one. It's an hour long but it's really worth it! Watch it!
